A few pictures:

 I mentioned recently that though I have been busy on the Frolic project, I haven't done anything very photogenic. Well, my new tabletop for the 2-person dinette that I built struck such a lovely pose that I just had to oblige.



I thought this is cherry, oak, and walnut. My Brother-in-law, who is good at recognizing woods, thinks the lighter wood, at least most of it, might be sassafras. I know my Father-in-law did cut some sassafras. Whatever it is I'm pretty pleased with how it looks. It is extra nice because this wood was all harvested by my Wife's Dad and his buddy. 

The counter for the kitchen area is also butcher-block. It's not quite as far along.




I also mentioned that I had the plumbing roughed in. A lot of it is hidden under and inside cabinets, but here are a couple of views of the area under the old dinette bench, where the water tank lives. The colorful piece of webbing is something I had on hand.

We camped in Frolic for the first time. It's officially done.

 I finally got Frolic on the road, so that means that it is basically done. Do you ever really finish with these sorts of things? Today is Monday. I got Frolic off the blocks and took it out for a ride on Saturday. I needed to burnish the new brakes and I wanted to see how it pulled. The last time it was moved was when it came here from Mt. Nebo WV. I was in the truck, but my friend who helped me out did the driving. Everything seemed good. Last night we (Kathy and I) did an overnight at Douthat State Park, a campground about 20 miles from here. We took notes on what we had forgotten, and what we need to diddle with, but basically, everything worked fine. Big Trip #9, Utah, Arizona, & New Mexico

 I need to finish this travel log up. I figure I'll do one more Big Trip post after this one. Ten is plenty. Our granddaughter, Carrington, is an artist. While we were at her and Harrison's house, Frolic was parked out front. She gave us this lovely portrait of our camper before we left. Before we leave, though, here is a picture of Harrison and Carrington with Clark. We left the Provo area and went South in Utah. When I planned the trip I failed to take into account that this was Labor Day Weekend. That kind of complicated things. We were fortunate to find a campground with an opening. As the name would imply, Bryce Zion Campground is between two of Utah's national parks.  Here is the entrance to B/Z Campground. The other picture is the view from behind and to the left. We had hoped to see both National Parks, but crowding at Zion slowed us up, so we decided to just enjoy Zion. As usual, our pictures don't do it justice. The world's tiniest bathroom:

 I've promised pictures for a while now. I have some, but they aren't very good. I've been working on the little--did I mention it is small--bathroom. Back at the beginning of my work on the Frolic, I bought a 32x24 shower pan. The plan was to make a little wet bath. It may be little but it was a lot of work. The back wall curves up and becomes the ceiling. The outside wall has a small window. That'll provide ventilation. The wall toward the front of the camper is the only one without curves. On the other side of that wall is a 10-inch wide closet. The wall that divides the wet bath from the main part of the camper is mostly the door. I'll build that next.  There will be a small demand water heater on the closet wall. I've checked. As long as my knees don't get much stiffer, I fit. :) Everything in the little room is white, so it doesn't photograph very well.  You can see the drain on the right.
